By how much with 比 (degree)

Structure A + 比 + B + adjective + 一点儿 / 得多 / 多了

After a 比 comparison you can specify BY HOW MUCH, at the end: 一点儿 (a bit more), 得多 / 多了 (much more). 他比我高一点儿 = "he’s a bit taller than me"; 今天比昨天热得多 = "today is much hotter than yesterday". An exact difference also goes at the end: 大两岁 ("two years older").

Examples

他tā比bǐ我wǒ高gāo一yī点diǎn儿r。
He’s a bit taller than me.
今jīn天tiān比bǐ昨zuó天tiān热rè得de多duō。
Today is much hotter than yesterday.
这zhè个ge比bǐ那nà个ge贵guì多duō了le。
This one is much more expensive than that one.
