The same as with 跟…一样

Structure A + 跟 + B + 一样 (+ adjective)

To say two things are the SAME you use A 跟 B 一样: 我跟你一样高 = "I’m just as tall as you". Alone, 一样 means "the same"; with an adjective after it, "equally…". The negative is 不一样 ("different") or 跟…不一样. 和 also works instead of 跟.

Examples

我wǒ跟gēn你nǐ一yī样yàng高gāo。
I’m just as tall as you.
这zhè个ge跟gēn那nà个ge一yī样yàng。
This one is the same as that one.
他tā的de手shǒu机jī跟gēn我wǒ的de一yī样yàng。
His phone is the same as mine.
