Structure 再 + Verb

再 (zài) is "again" for something that has NOT happened yet: a future or planned repetition. 再说一遍 = "say it again"; 明天再来 = "come again tomorrow". It differs from 又 (again, but for something already done), which comes in HSK 3. 再 also marks "(do something) afterwards": 先…再…

请qǐng再zài说shuō一yī遍biàn。
Please say it again.
