Finally with 终于

Structure 终于 + Verb + 了

终于 (zhōngyú) is "finally / at last", after waiting or effort: 我终于找到工作了 = "I finally found a job". It almost always refers to a desired outcome and usually closes with 了. It goes before the verb. To list steps ("lastly") you use 最后, not 终于.

Examples

我wǒ终zhōng于yú找zhǎo到dào工gōng作zuò了le。
I finally found a job.
他tā终zhōng于yú来lái了le。
He finally came.
终zhōng于yú到dào家jiā了le。
Finally home.
