Not as good as with 不如

Structure A + 不如 + B (+ adjective)

不如 (bùrú) compares by saying A is INFERIOR to B: A 不如 B = "A is not as good as B / B is better". 我的中文不如他 = "my Chinese isn’t as good as his". With an adjective: 坐车不如走路快 = "going by car isn’t as fast as walking". It’s another negative comparison, alongside 没有.

Examples

我wǒ的de中zhōng文wén不bù如rú他tā。
My Chinese isn’t as good as his.
坐zuò车chē不bù如rú走zǒu路lù快kuài。
Going by car isn’t as fast as walking.
这zhè个ge不bù如rú那nà个ge好hǎo。
This one isn’t as good as that one.
