值得

To be worth (值得)

Structure 值得 + verb (/ 不值得)

值得 (zhídé) means "to be worth, to deserve": it goes before a verb and says the action pays off. 这本书值得一读 = "this book is worth reading"; 这个地方值得一去 = "this place is worth visiting". Negate it with 不值得: 为这点小事生气,不值得 = "it’s not worth getting angry over such a small thing".
