Structure (Subject) + 不容 + disyllabic verb/noun

不容 (bùróng) means "to not allow, to leave no room for, to brook no": it flatly denies that something is possible or acceptable. It takes a disyllabic verb and is common in journalism and formal prose: 形势不容乐观 = "the situation gives no grounds for optimism"; 这一点不容置疑 = "this is beyond doubt"; 问题严重，不容忽视 = "the problem is serious and cannot be ignored". It is more categorical and formal than 不许 or 不允许, and often appears in set phrases (不容置疑, 不容否认, 不容忽视, 不容侵犯).
