干脆

Structure 干脆 + blunt decision
干脆 (gāncuì) proposes settling something decisively, with no more fuss: "just… and be done with it". 既然这么麻烦,干脆别做了 = "since it’s such a hassle, let’s just not do it". As an adverb it suggests the quickest, cleanest fix. As an adjective it describes a decisive person: 他做事很干脆 = "he gets things done without dithering".
Examples
- 与其等他,不如干脆自己去。
Rather than wait for him, I might as well just go myself.
- 他做事很干脆,从不拖延。
He’s decisive: no dithering, never puts things off.
- 既然这么麻烦,干脆别做了。
Since it’s such a hassle, let’s just not do it.
